Alan 'Butch' Gale Room
100 cocktail, 60 seated
The Alan 'Butch' Gale Room is The Birmy's newest function space, located on the first floor and overlooking the balcony. Fully private with its own stocked bar, it's ideal for milestone celebrations, birthdays and work parties.
The Workshop
120 cocktail, 70 seated
The Workshop is a funky, versatile space that is close to the action. Located on the ground floor and overlooking Johnston St, it's the ideal party space for when you want to let loose.
The Side Bar
65 cocktail, 40 seated
The Side Bar is an intimate space full of rustic-industrial charm. Situated on the ground floor yet positioned away from the hustle and bustle of the venue, it is perfect for meetings, corporate events and smaller gatherings.

Is there a minimum spend or deposit required?
Yes, there is a minimum spend but this is dependent on the size of your booking. Please speak to our Functions team for a tailored quote.
Can I view the function spaces before booking?
Absolutely! Please reach out to the team to arrange a time for a personalised walk-through.
How long does it take to get a response to my enquiry?
The team will endeavour to respond to your enquiry within 48 hours. If you haven't heard from us in that time, please call the venue.
Can I customise food and drink packages for my event?
Yes we can do this within reason. We have packages available that are outlined in our Function Pack but if there is something in particular you are after, please speak to our Functions Team and we can work with you to tailor a package to suit.
Do I need to confirm numbers when submitting an enquiry?
No you don't need final numbers when you enquire but we will require final numbers 14 days prior to your event.
